Overview
Calculation 10 (MathPuzzle10) is a brain-training puzzle where you use four numbers and arithmetic operators (+, -, ×, ÷) to make 10. Simple rules, but it takes creative thinking and mathematical intuition to find every solution.
How to Play
- Look at the four numbers on screen
- Build an equation using operators (+, -, ×, ÷) and parentheses
- Make the result equal to 10
- Correct answer: +1 point, +10 seconds bonus
- Skip a problem: -5 seconds penalty
- Timer starts at 90 seconds — game over when it hits 0
Game Rules
- Time limit: starts at 90 seconds
- Scoring: +1 point and +10 seconds for each correct answer
- Skip: -5 seconds penalty to move to the next problem
- Operators: +, -, ×, ÷, and parentheses are allowed
- Rule: each number must be used exactly once
- Decimals: intermediate decimals are fine as long as the final result is 10
Examples
Numbers: 2, 3, 4, 1
Solution: 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 = 10
Numbers: 1, 2, 3, 6
Solution: 1 × 2 + (3 - 1) × 6 ÷ ... — multiple valid solutions exist!
